THIS WEEK’S WORDS come from “They Feed They Lion” by Philip Levine: burlap, butter, bread, gutted, gray, grained, feed, ferocity, forgiven, holiness, home, hidden
I feed my family with cakes
chocolate cake and buttered sponge
being at home with bread to bake
a burlap sack of oranges
on such a grey day
nice to be cosy at home
forget ferocity, just forgive
don’t be gutted
some hidden meaning
the holiness of togetherness
feed the hungry, that’s the challenge
some grained food with juicy steak
then go for a walk by the lake
new recipe to take a plunge
afternoon tea with friends
short bread and scones
cappuccino is also fine
tete-a- tete with you
new gossips
new plans
masarap kumain kapag
may mga kasama*
*nice to eat
with company
