She felt being in a quagmire
Or being stuck in a dryer
So inexperienced and unripe
Out of her shell!
Hoping her longing she could quell
Hope to get out of labyrinth
She felt being in a quagmire
Out of her shell!
One day she could get out of here
One day she could be free again
One day she could be strong, too
Out of her shell!*

This is brilliant, Lady Lee! I opened up the challenge to all syllabic forms, thinking of you and several others who I knew would enjoy writing more poetry. ❤
