Let’s try setting up devices
Some nameless products and bridges
A wake up call considering
Something similar to baffling
Insane if you ask me but they are all acting
We’ll never know till we try, so let’s try setting

In this mad world, there’s always one
Who gets into trouble but fun
You may be nameless but I know
People know you as a John Doe
The plot thickening as the mystery unfurled
Anywhere, there is a John Doe in this mad world

“You shake my nerves and you rattle my brain
Too much love drives a man insane
You broke my will, but what a thrill
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire”

Forget all the platitudes but look what you’ve done to me

Someone who’s cramped me in chains but then again

I’m always aware of you like great balls of fire spree

Lofty search but somehow such dishonourable degree

My crystal ball said otherwise but then I still feign

In a land of sadness, broken dreams are made
Which strips away any vital connection
And life was gravely portrayed
His name no longer mentioned
Of empty sheets and promises
No sense in carrying on
When everything is aimless
She’s been conned and he’s gone
When poems are so melancholic
His name no longer part of her speech
Life could be mysterious and cryptic
Acceptance could be beseech
While firmly grasping the goblet by the stem
She used to be happy and carefree
He could no longer be condemned
She just have to accept that she’s free

Hush
Unspoken
Left to bite her tongue
Can’t even speak her truth
Enough is enough she says
Time to move on now
No moaning
Hope
